The world’s toughest downhill mountain bike race took place earlier this year in the mountainous terrain of Maydena in Tasmania. The two day event sees riders race down a 3.4km track reaching speeds of up to 60km.
With rugged terrain and 10m drops, watching the action is only made possible with the use of cameras and big event screens. Digital Screen 16 and Digital Screen 6 were used across the event to stream racers live as well as entertaining the crowds with live music and up to the minute leaderboards.
Fellow adrenaline junkies get ready – Red Bull Hardline will be back in Tassie in February next year. Look out!
